STFF going virtual for 7th annual event featuring 50+ films

Snowtown Film Festival is going virtual for its annual celebration of winter through film on January 29 - February 7, 2021. Working with the online film festival platform Eventive, STFF will present over 50 short films, official selections, and panel conversations. Pass holders will have access to Eventive through AppleTV and Roku, or directly through the internet.

This year’s festival will open with a Facebook Live preview party for the public on Friday, January 29th at 6pm. Festival organizers will walk through the new virtual format and provide a rundown of this year’s programming.

In lieu of the crowd-favorite flannel casual red carpet reception, pass holders will be encouraged to submit flanneled selfies from the couch for a chance to win prizes.

Short films were selected by festival organizers from over 565 submitted from over 64 countries. In addition to providing nearly double the content, this year’s virtual format allows STFF to extend the festival from two to ten days.
