Meet the filmmakers...

With Netflix, iTunes, and smart TVs, why venture out into the icy cold to watch a movie? In addition to offering incredible unique work from local and international artists, Snowtown Film Festival offers a special opportunity to hear directly from the filmmakers. On Saturday, Jan. 27th, STFF will host four panel conversations between our audience and filmmakers following the screening of each of our "Official Selections."

At 6:00PM, STFF will present the documentary Denial. In Denial, David Hallquist, a Vermont utility executive, has made it his mission to take on one of the largest contributors of climate change - the electric grid. But, when his son Derek tries to tell his father's story, the film is soon derailed by a staggering family secret, one that forces Derek and David to turn their attention toward a much more personal struggle, one that can no longer be ignored. Following the film, join Executive Producer Aaron Woolf and Director Derek Hallquist for a follow up conversation on this personal and touching story.
