Congratulations Snowdysseus

Congratulations to Snowdysseus directed by Evan Curtis (Ore Magi Films), winner of the first ever Snowtown Film Festival Grand Prize Award for short film submissions. The festival committee also honored Adirondack Ice Bowl directed by Zach Suprenant, Even the Birds Need to Be Loved directed by DocumentingIan, and Annulment directed by Bryan Stumpf with filmmakers awards. Eva's Legacy directed by Simon Frith, Acabo de tener un sueño directed by Javier Navarro, and The Suits directed by Brian Ness will also be honored with short film awards. 2015 Snowtown Film Festival Schedule!

Well here is the full schedule for the Snowtown Film Festival! Friday, January 30, 2015 6 p.m.: Reception at the Dulles State Office Building for those 18 and over. 7:15 p.m.: “Fargo,” rated R. Saturday, January 31, 2015 10:00 am “The Coldest Winter,” followed by a Q&A session. The film has not been rated by the Motion Picture Association of America, but Mr. Mustizer says it would merit a PG-13, for language and violence. Noon: Lecture with Norman Keim, author of “Our Movie Houses: A History of Film and Cinematic Innovation in Central New York.” 1:00 pm “For Heaven’s Sake” Harold Lloyd stars in this 1926 silent movie. Fargo to kickoff film festival weekend

Snowtown Film Festival will kick off Friday, January 31st at 6pm with a red carpet reception and screening of Academy Award winning film "Fargo" at the Dulles State Office Building. Among numerous honors, "Fargo," was named one of TIME Magazine's "Top Ten Freezing Cold Movies". The reception and screening are reserved for an 18+ audience.
